DARK DRAWINGS
These drawings were inspired by an assignment in a basic drawing course that I teach.
The assignment is called "Forms in Space" where basic forms evolve into something more complex.
I wanted to see if I could sustain my interest in this activity for several drawings. The
cones, cubes, spheres, and cylinders evolved into bones and creatures performing on a stage.
They are acting out an eerie untellable tale. I drew them thinking about the first Bush
administration's involvement in the torture of peoples in Central American.
